Testing Flood Sensor Install at the "Lab" (Dean's)

Mounted 14' Senix sensor (ID 5101044, EUI 00-A8-0E) to Dean's prototype. Height of sensor = 87.6" (7.3') above concrete, Set height to 107.3' in Floodzilla (based on the concrete being 100')

Frequency of readings was set to every 15 minutes to start due to technical problems.

Filled 5-gal bucket with water and measured from face of sensor to water surface with tape (distance = 79.5" or 6.625')

2:05pm = 101.14'

Lowered sensor and raised it back up, then filled 5-gal bucket and measured from face of sensor to water surface with tape (distance = 82" or 6.83')

2:26pm = 101.13'

2:41pm = 101.11'

Determined that the width of the 5-gal bucket is too narrow for the sensing cone at the height the sensor was installed at (sensing cone ~22.11")

Switched 5-gal bucket with a 22.5" wide bucket and used a plumb line to ensure it was directly below sensor face.

Changed frequency of readings to every 60-seconds.

Filled bucket to brim with water and measured from face of sensor to water surface with tape (distance = 76.5" or 6.375')

Readings between 2:41pm and 2:54pm are not accurate because of the activity going on beneath the sensor during the increase in reading frequency change.

2:54pm = 100.87

2:55pm = 100.87

2:56pm = 100.87

2:57pm = 100.87

Lowered and raised sensor again

2:59pm = 100.88

3:00pm = 100.89

3:01pm = 100.89

3:02pm = 100.89

removed some water from bucket

3:03pm = 100.86
