Hardware

  • Tall Chief receiver still having issues. Seems to work for a few hours after a reboot then stop transmitting. We are confident that it is not a power or antenna issue because the Tolt Hill gage didn't disconnect from it, and reconnect to the Acacia Farm indoor receiver, until it was powered off. To try and diagnose the issue we are going to do the following:
    • Run the indoor receiver at TC with a nearby transmitter for a few days to rule out the cell bridge getting into a failure state
    • Then reconfigure the cell bridge to be in NAT mode and run the indoor receiver for another day
    • In parallel we are going to run the outdoor receiver on a stable network for a few days with a nearby transmitter
    • We will then bring back in the outdoor receiver
  • Lisa to inspect the Wild Canary gage

Software

  • Dave to fix bug with G&G notification
  • Discussed how to handle false positive alerts at G&G. Decided to just trim the grass and if necessary rails the virtual ground.
  • Things to consider next: better trending, crest timing / prediction, public github repo
