Gage Steward Job Description

Generally, a gage steward would be responsible for one maintenance and care of one or more specific gage location. The gage stewards would become members of the Floodzilla team, and attend a monthly meeting, keep up with flood events, and troubleshoot their specific gages, especially before a flood event.

Duties include:

1. Preseason: prepare and reinstall gages,
   1. clean sensor and transmitter,
   2. inspect antenna, and changing batteries. Once reinstalled, inspect site for debris that could return bad readings, and assist staff with re-surveying for data comparison integrity.
