Cellular Network Set-up and SIM Information
Any new SIM cards added to the network should be purchased from the T-Mobile store located at 1171 NW Sammamish Rd, Issaquah, WA 98027. Be sure to verify the size of the SIM required for the cellular bridge before purchasing. The SVPA has a business account with several SIM cards on it. The account is on auto-pay using the SVPA debit card.
Active Cellular Bridges
Each outdoor receiver must be configured with its own SIM card to use the cellular network. To set up a new SIM card, it must either be activated in the T-Mobile store or over the phone. Be sure it’s connected to the existing SVPA account. Once it’s activated, you can proceed with setting up, and configuring the cellular bridge. Below are the active SIM cards in the Floodzilla Gage Network, and their locations.

Configuring the Cellular Bridge
Be sure the SIM is oriented correctly and inset into the slot in the side of the cellular bridge (the Multitech MultiConnect eCell) until it locks in place. Connect the provided antennas to the connectors labeled CELL and AUX. Finger tighten. For best cellular performance, position the top of the antennas as far apart as possible. Connect the ethernet cable between the ethernet ports on the computer and the cellular bridge. Connect the power adapter to the 12V DC connector. To power up the cellular bridge, plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet. Wait 60 seconds.
- Open a web browser, and enter IP address 192.168.2.1.
- Login using “admin” as both the username and the password.
- Click “Wizard” on the left. Click “Next”.
- Change password to [see password manager] and click “Next”.
- Enter and configure “APN” – Select “Manual Configuration”, set “Country” to “USA”, Enter the “APN” associated with the T-Mobile SIMs. It will be the same for all T-Mobile SIMs. Enter the APN: “fast.t-mobile.com”. Set Country to “USA”. Click “Next”. Click “Apply”.
- Important: Be sure that the box next to “NAT” is checked under “system settings”.
- Wait a few minutes and check the LED status on the cellular bridge. Power, SIM, Internet, and Signal LEDs are on when there is a live internet connection. The small LED on the side of the cellular bridge where the ethernet cable is connected should be green and flashing intermittently. The Internet LED on the top should also flash intermittently.
- The cellular bridge is now configured.
- Be sure to record the information from the SIM and the cellular bridge.
